1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

not to questions the big man or anything, but if love is kind, then why does it hurt us so much?
if it never fails, then why are people getting so many divorces?

i've been reading from Corinthians a lot, and this is what has stuck to me.

what's our world turning into?
people getting married, just because of physical attraction.
it's a bit ridiculous.

but changing the subject,
Christmas is in two days, and i'm a tad overwhelmed because my family is not as close as it used to be.
they're all depending on me to call my grandpa and my brother to invite them over on Christmas day.

ugh!
off to make those phone calls.

here's lookin at you,
shelby
